Candidates are required to have well rounded electrical engineering capabilities. This includes systems engineering concepts, computer programming (C, C++, C#) and system test evaluation knowledge. Candidate duties may include: data analysis; parts research selection; data reduction using custom built applications; unit board level testing; engineering analysis; systems integration support; and design/test documention (specifications, interconnect drawings, schematics, parts list, test plan procedures, etc.).
Candidates are required to design and manage DOD systems over the system life-cycle. The applicant should be familiar with systems analysis, decision making, and trade studies for all aspects of the design cycle including operational considerations, requirements definition, and interface considerations. A knowledge base of DOD acquisition and system engineering processes are required. Applicant should be familiar with computer OS capabilities, database applications and general hardware/software disciplines.
Candidates are required to have well rounded software engineering capabilities. This includes systems engineering concepts, computer programming (C,C++,C#) and software system test and evaluation knowledge. Candidates duties may include: software requirements definition; documentation development (design and user documentation); application development (multi-threaded applications); software test and evaluation and software system integration. Applicant must have a strong understanding of software network; interfacing and inter software component communications.
